...I worked as a Word Processing Specialist until 1990. I am have been a Teacher Assistant in a high school for four years. I assist the students in Algebra, Geometry, English, Biology, World Geography, World History, and Microsoft Programs: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Raised in France, I did all my schooling there and went to university in CT. After a few years in the corporate world working in 4 different countries, I switched to teaching. I worked in a school outside Paris, teaching English to French children for a few years and taught French in a US language school.

...I have been in Spanish practically my whole high school career, but it was not a subject at which I excelled. I struggled immensely with Spanish, I did not understand it. Things changed when I went off to college and took my first Spanish class; I was understanding it and even more surprising to me, I enjoyed it.

...Like the rest of at least half of the world, I consider myself to be an aspiring writer, at least with poetry. I can help anyone with their work and make it sound very good and have you work to make it that way without a lot of hand holding. I think living in Japan helped me understand teaching and helping someone with learning a language better.
