Boston popularly known as The City of hill is one of the oldest city of USA, situated in the state of common wealth of Massachusetts. It was founded in 1630.It is a very significant city of U.S. Boston is connected to the mainland by a narrow isthmus, and surrounded by Massachusetts Bay and Charles River.

Boston is the densely populated metropolitan city of America, having a population of 590,000 people spread over the area of 89.6 square miles. Approximately 16% population is Irish and 8.5% Italian.It has a very strong cultural background with diversity and economic opportunities. It is an international centre for finance majorly shares, mutual funds and Insurance. Fidelity investment has made Boston one of the top financial cities in the United States. Boston is also the headquarter of many banks such as Bank of America and Sovereign Bank. It is also a centre for venture capital entertainment, media, business, fashion, food and medicine.

The old culture and tradition still flourishes in Boston. The dialect and food of Boston resemble that of England. Boston is a highly cultured city because of its intellectual reputation. This department helps in the growth of the cultural community and promotes advances cultural tourism in Boston. To attract tourists the city is undergoing landscaping and beautification. The best time to visit Boston is late spring (April to May) or early fall (September to October).The temperature mild in these months otherwise Boston can be unbearably hot in the summer and frigid in the winter.

Logan International is the nearest airport situated 5 kilometers from northeast of city. Boston being the closest port to Europe is the primary destination for major airliners.

By Bus

Boston also have Boston Greyhound Terminal .This bus facility connects Boston with other major parts of US.

By Train

Boston also have Boston-South Station.
