The market conditions of vail are stable Even though the conditions are slow in comparison to the previous year sales but the posh residential properties have put the market in a better condition despite the decline. Approximately 30 residential properties are priced over $4 million. The month of April 2008 saw the sale of a condo at 10,500,000, which has been the highest sale in this year.

The rental market for vail real estate has seen a slow down in the past few months and this has pulled down the rental prices significantly. At pre sent, there are some 111 condominium/town homes available in the Town of vail, as many as 41 duplexes, and 37 single-family homes for sale.

The prices for start at $749 and $1,300,000 for single family. In the 1st quarter of 2008, there were 5 condo sales, with prices ranging from $423-$628/square foot. Only 2 duplex sales and 4 single family sales with prices ranging from $602-$816/square foot and $468-$798/square foot respectively.
