The Utruscan alphabet was invented by William D. Ward, Jr. as an alternative way of writing English using the Etruscan alphabet. It has a one-to-one mapping of the modern English alphabet with four additional symbols for consonant blends found in the ancient script. Utruscan preserves the look and character of the ancient Etruscan alphabet.
All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They
are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another
in a spirit of brotherhood.
(Article 1 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights)
