Can you identify the language, and do you know where it’s spoken?

Sounds like Finnish but isn’t quite – some Estonian dialect?
One of the Sámi languages spoken in northern Europe. North Sámi is the largest by far, but the recording seems to contain some vowel sounds not present in North Sámi that to my ears sound like [ø]. It has a certain scandinavian flavour to it and the pronunciation of “Jesus Kristus” leads me to believe that this is a person from Norway or Sweden. I’ll go for South Sámi since it has a few exotic vowel sounds ([ɨ], [ʉ], [y]) that are fairly close to an [ø] and that North and Lule Sámi both lack.
Finnish related but not too close perhaps Mordvin or Veps?.
A Sami language. Don’t know which one.
I’ll go with Sami – and ditto Arakun re the pronunciation of ‘u’.
The answer is Southern Sámi (Åarjelsaemien gïele), a Sámi language spoken in mainly in parts of Norway, and also in Sweden.
