Another very Tibetan sounding language. We had one from the Mustang region of Nepal only a few weeks ago.
Maybe one of the Tibetan dialects native to and spoken in Sichuan or a nearby region of south-western China??
You’re on the right lines Lynnie – the answer is Kham (Kham-Hor / Khampa), a Tibetic language spoken in the Kham region of Tibet Autonomous Region, the western part of Sichuan, and the northwestern part of Yunnan in China, and also in Bhutan.
