The language is Dane-zaa / Beaver (Danezaa ZaageɁ / ᑕᓀᖚ ᖚᗀᐥ), an Athabaskan language spoken in parts of British Columbia and Alberta in Canada. The recording comes from the GRN.
Oh wow! I’m impressed with how similar this language sounds to the southern Athabaskan languages, despite the great geographic distance. It definitely fooled us into thinking it was a lot closer to Navajo!
Navajo or something close to it?
It is related to Navajo.
I’m gonna guess Apache then.
