A Finnic language, up my street. At first it sounded to me like Estonian with some Russian influence (I heard ‘što’) and plenty of Č sounds. Then I noticed the speaker indtroducing herself at the beginning (‘my name is’) and spotted the language name.
My answer is Skolt Sami
Even if I had not read Vyrpenz’s post I think I would have guessed something like Finnish but probably would not have thought of any of the Sami languages. Thanks!
The language is indeed Skolt Sámi (sääʹmǩiõll), an Eastern Sámi language spoken mainly in northern Finland, and in northwestern Russia.
