  1. I thought I heard the names Marie and Alexander as well as the word “Cuba”. With the music in the background it almost sounds like a prayer on a religious program. Could it be an indigenous language from one of the tribes in the Caribbean? The timbre of the voice also suggests that to me.

  2. Definitely a Bantu language, and with the lateral fricative and what sounds like a “whistling fricative”, I’m guessing it’s probably Xitsonga, spoken in southern Mozambique and northeastern South Africa.
