Sounds bit Arabic/Turkish?
It’s not Arabic, but is related to Turkish.
Could it be Uzbek or Kyrgyz?
Mongol!? 😉
No, not Uzbek, Kyrgyz or Mongol.
it is no doubt a Turkic language; maybe Uyghur or possibly Tatar.
Pashto ………… or Azeri! 😉
>> Simon: I’ve sent you an email I hope you’ll get it. Many emails went astray in the past!
TJ-Pashto is an Iranian language; it it Indo-European, not Altaic. 🙂
qashqai?
Dungan, perhaps?
Tatar?
AR: Thanks for the info!! What about Azeri? is it the same too? I heard it is close to Turkish!
This cannot be Dungan which is actually a Chinese dialect very close to Mandarin.
The language in question must either Tatar or Uyghur.
It is not easy to distinguish various Turkic languages since they are very similar to each other.
The answer is … Uyghur – well guess Podolsky.
The clip comes from Radio Free Asia (Erkin Asiya Radio).
Rahmet! (Uzbek greeting!)
TJ- Azeri is Altaic, quite similar to Turkish.
Tashakkur Ederim! 🙂
