Candoshi-Shapra

Candoshi-Shapra is a language isolate spoken in the Loreto Region of northern Peru, along the Chapuli, Huitoyacu, Pastaza and Morona rivers. In 2007 there were about 1,100 speakers of Candoshi-Shapra, which is also known as Candoshi, Candoxi, Kandoshi, Murato or Shapra.

There are two dialects of Candoshi-Shapra: Chapara, or Shapra, and Kandoashi, or Candoshi.

Iy tpotsini ichigoroni kis tamam zadkini, vatam tpotsiniva. Vatam ichigoroni magini tarova; ashiriya chinakaniya. Ashirocha, zovalliatsich tamaparia-ashiros sanpata chinagtsa atiniya.

Translation
