Central Pomo

Central Pomo is a Pomoan language spoken in Northern California. It was traditionally spoken between the Russian River, southwest of Clear Lake, and the Pacific coast. There are about 12 speakers of Central Pomo. Speakers of Central Pomo call themselves Bokeya. The language has also been known as Ballo-Kai-Pomo, Cabanapo, Habenapo, H'hana, Kábinapek, Khabenapo, Khana, Kulanapan, Kulanapo, Venaambakaia, Venambakaiia or Yokaia.
