Dhundari is a member of the Rajasthani branch of the Indo-Aryan language family. It is spoken in the Dhundhar region of Rajasthan state in the northeast of India, specifically in the districts of Jaipur, Karauli, Hindaun, Sawai Madhopur, Dausa and Tonk. In 2011 there were about 1.48 million speakers of Dhundari, which is also known as Dhundari-Marwari, Jaipuri or Marwari.
