Hatang Kayi

Hatang Kayi is a member of the Central Luzon branch of the Malayo-Polynesian language family. It is spoken by about 2,500 people in the provinces of Quezon and Rizal on the island of Luzon in the northern Philippines. In particular it is spoken in the municipality of Tanay in Rizal Province, and in General Nakar Municipality in Quezon Province.

Hatang Kayi means "this language" in Hatang Kayi. The language is also known as Remontado, Remontado Dumagat, Sinauna, Sinauna Tagalog, Kabalat and Hatang-Kayey.

Hatang Kayi is considered an endangered language as many speakers are shifting to Tagalog.
