Pazeh is a Northwest Formosan language that was spoken mainly in Puli Township (埔里鎮) in Nantou County (南投縣) in central Taiwan. The last fluent speaker of Pazeh, Pan Jin-yu (潘金玉), died in 2010 at the age of 96. However, the Pazeh people say that there still are four fluent speakers of Pazeh in the village of Liyutan (鯉魚潭). Pan Jin-yu taught her language to about 200 students in classes in Puli, and also in Miaoli and Taichung, and since her death efforts have continued to revive the language.
Pazeh is also known as Pazih, Pazéh, Kulun or Pazeh-Kahabu.
