The Tower of Babel (Genesis 11: 1-9)

Simdir ma yum Babel

  1. Hay na'ta sumun hay nagat noŋ kaf visi ma dumna ay kepe, yoboy ma nisi di hiɗi namna ay kepe kaw.
  2. Nisi yaway hay gal ma kuɗuwn pa, nisi fi liyn ma beɗna hay Sineyar, nisi lak hayam ziya.
  3. Nisi ka di jar-tuwisya: Tuɗaygiya, caygi brikŋa, gaygit hiɗi kuta. Brikŋa muɗi mi hiɗiyna visiya, naga ma dirginna muɗi mi zomona ma sliraɓan jaramna may.
  4. Nisi ka di jar-tuwsi ala: Tuɗaygiya, inaygi hoyok-ziyn ma ŋolla hiɗi simdira, nay ma inim fiyoko ta-ta sinem co kulo dukalawan goŋ'. Nay ma tiyay say goy tiy, kay nay ma mer goy kay yam nagat siɗak-ɗakɗi.
  5. Bugol kayni Ma-Vatɗina jikay gaa'a kay ɗuw hoyok-ziyna hiɗi gulmunna ma gurona vi sumun ka inimna.
  6. Ma-Vatɗin di'e: Yo! sum nisin tani jafsi kepe, vunna visi kep lay, van kayni mi tun-cawta visi ɦawa, hini wulin ɗawni, va ma nisi daawa ala nisi min lumu ni, sa ma as telsi kalam may loɗi.
  7. Nay tuɗaygiya, jikaygi gaa jarsiya, ɓurawsi vunsi goyo, kay a nisi ma hum vun tuwsi loɗi.
  8. Hay liy namna pa Ma-Vatɗina hinsi mer goy kay nagat pete, nisi hin inda vi simdir namna.
  9. Nisi yi sem liy namna ala Babel, kay hay buur namna kayni sum sa ka kay nagat pete Ma-Vatɗina ɓurawsi vunsi goyo, hay liy namna pa kaw nam mer jaf-sumun kaf goy kay nagata.
