Maharlikeño is a new way to write for Filipino / Tagalog created by Kirk Mifrano. He thinks that the Baybayin script is to big and bulky for everyday use and takes too long to write, so came up with a version that is easier to write. It is based on the Latin, Greek and Cyrillic alphabets and can be written in two styles: a Gothic style (shown below), a more rounded style similar to Burmese. It can also be written cursively to make it easier to write by hand.
