Neo Tazaric was designed by Filipe Dos Reis, a French / Portuguese engineer, as an alternative script for European Portuguese. Later he adapted it to write French and Tamil and other languages such as Arabic Chinese, English, Japanese and Russian. He has tested it on Tamil and Portuguese speakers.
Neo Tazaric uses a duodecimal numbering system.
