Anaang is a Cross River language spoken in Akwa Ibom State in the southeast of Nigeria by about 2.9 million people. In particular, it is spoken in the Abak, Oruk-Anam, Ukanafun, Essien-Udim, Ikot-Ekpene, Obot-Akara, Etim-Ekpo and Ika Local Government Areas in the northwest of Akwa Ibom State.
Anaang is also known as Anang, Annang, and Anaang speakers call their language Anaañ.
