Isoko

Isoko is a member of the Southwestern Edoid branch of the Volta-Niger language family. It is spoken by about 681,000 people mainly in the Isoko South, Isoko North and part of Ndokwa East Local Government Areas (LGA) of Delta State in southern Nigeria. There are also some speakers in the Sagbama LGA of Bayelsa State and in Orhionmwon LGA in Edo State.

Isoko is written with the Latin script, and there is a version of the Bible in the language.
