Jemez

Jemez is a Tanoan language spoken by about 3,000 people in Jemez Pueblo (Walatowa) in Sandoval County in the north of New Mexico in the south of the USA.

Jemez is also known as Towa or Walatowa. It can be written with the Latin alphabet. Since the beginning of the 21st century there have been classes in Jemez, and immersion education through the medium of Jemez.
