Anglograms

Anglograms is an alternative way to write English created by Thomas Patterson after he noticed that no-one had decided to create a way of adapting Cuneiform to English. It is based primarily on the Ugartic Cuneiform, since it is more alphabetic than other varieties of cuneiform, and also on the Persian and Hittite Cuneiform scripts.

𒄭, 𐎈, and 𒉌 are all used instead of 𐎅𐎹, 𐎅𐎆, and 𐎐𐎹 because all of these clusters are sometimes merged into a single sound.
𒁇 is derived from a word which had the cluster ng, because no cuneiform language has a velar nasal
Many of the letters for syllabic consonants derive from a vowel followed by that consonant in a way similar to many digraphs in english's latin alphabet.
𐎝 is used mainly for the -s plural, whenever the pronunciation of a sound as [s] or [z] can depend on adjacent words or morphemes
Reduced vowels are spelled with the vowel they are a reduced form of
Everything is spelled how it sounds
Diphthongs without a dedicated letter are spelled with the leading vowel followed by the semivowel equivalent.
