Wichí Lhamtés Vejoz is a Matacoan language spoken mainly in northern Argentina and also in southern Bolivia. In Argentina it is spoken in the provinces of Chaco, Formosa, Salta and Jujuy, and in Bolivia it is spoken along the Bermejo and Pilcomayo rivers.
The language is also called Mataco Vejoz, Vejoz, Vejo, Vejos, Pilcomayo or Bermejo. It is closely related to Wichí Lhamtés Nocten and Wichí Lhamtés Güisnay. They are known collectively as Wichí languages, and are considered dialects of one language by some.
