Koreguaje is a Western Tucanoan language spoken by about 1,700 people mainly along the Orteguasa and Caquetá rivers in the Caquetá Department in the south of Colombia. There are also Koreguaje speakers in Peurto Leguizamo in the Putumayo Department, and in cities like Bogotá and Medellín.
Koreguaje is also known as Korebaju, Korebajʉ, Korewaje, Ko'reuaju or Coreguaje. Korebaju speakers call their language Koʼrevajʉ chʉ'o and themselves Koʼrevajʉ ("people of the earth"). Koreguaje can be written with the Latin alphabet.
