Diacritical English (д̌̂кр̌т̌к̂л ŋ̗л̌ш)

The Diacritical English alphabet was invented by Ava Robbins-Kräg as a highly compact way to write English without being too complicated. It consists of Cyrillic letters, diacritical marks, and Old English letters. It can be used to write English, and other languages with minimal diacritics. Ava used this script within school to communicate discreetly.

Direction of writing: left to right in horizontal lines
Used to write: English (could also be used to other languages with minimal diacritics)
Vowels are indicated with diacritics above or below the letters that preceed them.
The diacritics can be stacked on top of each other when several vowels occur together. They are read from bottom to top.
When there is no consonant in a word, the first vowel is written, with the rest being diacritics.
When a vowel makes up the first letter in a word with consonants, it is put under the first consonant (top to bottom for multiple vowels)
A grave accent signifies a double letter, or an elongated sound, for example л̭̀ = all
Common and unnecessary letters are removed in this script: for example the sound represent by c, k and q [k] is written к (k), q is written кы (kw), and x is written з (z)
