Skyling Script Skyling Script (Lishan Oiad)

The Skyling Script was invented by Kitsune Sobo as the native script of the Skylings (Deywo23es) in the Rhodinoverse. It is also called the Dragon Kings Script. The Rhodinoverse is a fictional multiverse created and illustrated by Kit, and features various species with their own distinct languages and cultures.

In-universe History

After absorbing the land of the Skylings as a fiefdom, the twelve Dragon Kings set about to create a writing system for their subjects for ease of communication.

The Skyling language (Dngyhwe2khs Deywo2qom) is a tonal language with complex sounds like laryngeals and a voiced pharyngeal fricative (ʕ), and had remained unwritten until then. Taking on the challenge of making a simple but aesthetically pleasing script, the Dragon Kings incorporated Skyling religious symbols as well as coloured ink to create their alphabet.
