Komba is a member of the Finisterre-Huon group of Trans-New-Guinea languages. It is spoken by about 15,000 people on the Huon Peninsula in the northeast of Morobe Province in eastern Indonesia, particularly in the villages of Erendengan, Indagen, Tipsit, Ilaka, Melandum and Waran.
Komba is also known as Neng Den. Dilaects include East Komba, West Komba, West Central Komba, Central Komba and Border Komba. It is written with the Latin alphabet.
