Yalunka is a member of the Mande branch of Niger-Congo language family. It is spoken in mainly in Guinea, and also in northeastern Sierra Leone, southwestern Mali and Senegal. Yalunka speakers can be found particularly in the north and south of Guinea..
Yalunka is also known as Dialonke or Jallonke. It is closely related to Susu, and is written with the Latin alphabet. A Yalunka translation of the Bible was published in 2013.
