West Eurolex

West Eurolex was designed by Punya Pranava Pasumarty to be easy to read, write and spell. The name literally means "West European Script", and it is best suited for languages spoken in Western Europe, such as English, French and Spanish. It also works for other languages like German, Latin and Greek as well.

Direction of writing: left to right in horizontal lines
Number of letters: 27, plus 3 'hook' letters modified sounds
Letters shapres are derived mainly from Coptic
Used to write: English, French, Spanish and other languages of Western Europe
Spelling rules are not strict in West Eurolex since the aim is to encode one's pronunciation as faithfully as possible,
