Nahavaq

Nahavaq is a member of the Southern Oceanic branch of the Malayo-Polynesian language family. It is spoken by about 700 people mainly in the Sinesip area on the South West Bay in the southwest of Malekula Island in Malampa Province of Vanuatu.

Nahavaq is also known as Nahava, South West Bay, Sinesip, or Seniang. It is closely related to Na’ahai, Nāti and Navwien, and is written with the Latin alphabet.
