Pangeul

Pangeul is an alternative way to write Esperanto inspired by Korean Hangeul and invented by Paoli Mbongo. It can also be used to write French.

Notable features

Type of writing system: alphabet
Direction of writing: left to right in horizontal lines
Used to write: Esperanto and French
Consonants have different shapes depending on where they appear in a syllable. When there are two consonants at the beginning of a syllable, their small horizontal forms are stacked on top of each other.
The first consonant is used when a syllable begins with a vowel.
