Daai is a member of the Southern Kuki-Chin-Naga language spoken by about 37,000 people in the townships of Kanpetlet, Matupi, Mindat and Paletwa in the south of Chin State in western Myanmar.
Daai is also known as Dai, Khyo or Daai Chin. Dialects include Ngxang, Nghngilo, Ma-Tu, Ship, Duk-Msang, Kheng, Mkuui and Yet.
