In March of 2021 I was planning to write a song about owls, but got distracted and wrote this one instead.
It started with good intentions
There were so many things to do
But then I got distracted
And now I'm in a stew
There are always things to see
To try and read and learn
But what should I choose
And where I should turn?
I'm sure there was something
I was planning to get done
But then I got distracted
And now I'm having fun
When off on flights of fancy
Who knows where I'll end up
Who knows what I'll discover
What knows what I'll make up
I embrace all these distractions
And don't let them get me down
They take me to lots of places
And never make me frown
