Quiet Please / Talwelwch

Dust / Llwch

This is a little song I wrote in May 2022 about how difficult it can be to find some peace and quiet in our noisy world.

Dyma gân fach mi wnes i sgwennu ym mis Mai 2022 am ba mor anodd y gall fod i ddod o hyd i ychydig o heddwch ac thawelwch yn ein byd swnllyd.

Quiet Please

The world can be a noisy place
with peace and quiet hard to trace
with clamour and clatter and clanging so near
and hubbub often in your ears.

Chorus
Be quiet, be quiet, please keep it down
Such bustle and fuss can make your frown
Be cool, be calm and chill a while
and may the silence make your smile.

Let sounds of nature fill your ears
To soothe your soul and calm your fears
The whispering wind and sighing seas
The singing birds and buzzing bees.

Chorus

Here's a recording:
