Mundani is member of the Momo group of Southern Bantoid languages. It is spoken by about 34,000 people mainly in Mamfe, a commune in the north of the Manyu Department in the north of the Southwest Region in western Cameroon. It is also spoken in the Wabane sub-division in the north of the Lebialem Department in the northeast of the Southwest Region.
There is a way to write Mundani with the Latin alphabet based on the General Alphabet of Cameroon Languages, which was adopted in 1979. There is a translation of the Bible in Mundani.
