Suwawa

Suwawa is a Philippine language spoken mainly in the district of Suwawa in the Bone Bolango Regency in Gorontalo Province on the island of Sulawesi in Indonesia. It is spoken by about 5,000 people, all of whom are adults. Young people have shifted to Indonesian.

Suwawa is also known as Bonda, Bone, Bunda, Bune, Suvava, Suwawa-Bunda or Toewawa. It is closely related to Mongondow.
