Wakasihu (Sou Rikedu)

Wakasihu is a member of the East Central Maluku branch of the Malayo-Polynesian langauge family. It is spoken by about 13,000 people mainly on Ambon Island, one of the Maluku Islands in Maluku Province in eastern Indonesia, and also on nearby islands.

Wakasihu is also known as Larike or Larike-Wakasihu. There are three dialects: Allang, Larike and Wakasihu. It is written with the Latin alphabet, and there is a Wakasihu translation of the Bible.

Kito waktu irihu laku idapate l'anu irinini. Tarus Kito ihete ri'a l'anu, "Imi tahi bisa imi lawa-lawa lete meita haha lou-lou. Paleng-paleng imi nini lohanasa mate'e, laku imi tuhu peduke.
